There is so much to do this weekend as Lexington will be the hub of entertainment, music and tons of fun. I have lived here in Lexington my entire life and I cannot recall a single weekend that will be larger than this one embarking on us. So many things to do, see and experience and it sure is presenting challenges as to what events to do. I know I have to pick my events because everything is happening. But how exciting to know my City is Hoppin’! Here are the Top events and social happenings in Lexington this weekend. In no particular order, let’s go:

1. World Equestrian Games - the games wrap up this weekend and there is sure to be more excitement on the horizon. This is the first time ever the world games have been held in the U.S. Get out to the

There is so much going on in Lexington today. First and foremost, the most exciting happening is the official premiere of Hollywood's soon-to-be newest blockbuster hit, Secretariat, the movie based on the 1973 Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown winner. The premiere takes place tonight downtown Lexington, at the famous Kentucky Theatre on Main Street. I will be out at the World Equestrian Games today taking in the fun and also a couple of events including the Reining competition.

It's LADIES DAY at the World Equestrian Games and Ladies have a chance to win nearly $10,000 in prizes for the best dressed. Celebrity judge Carson Kressley, star of the Bravo TV hit series "Queen Eye," will be amongst the celebrity judges.
